Alex Cai practices corporate, business transaction, commercial real estate, and trust and estates laws, with an emphasis on advising and serving Chinese clients in need of cross-border legal matters. Alex knows every client is special, and he provides them with responsive, insightful, and pragmatic legal advice. He often serves as clients’ trusted counselor for their business and family matters. He knows that the keys to adding value are communicating well and fully with clients and understanding their business, industry, family and short- and longer-term goals and concerns.

 

For about 30 years, Alex has worked with many U.S. Canadian, European, Singaporean and Chinese companies, investors, and owners to structure, negotiate and close various types of transactions. He has built up deep knowledge and experience in legal matters involving the U.S. and China which allow him to provide informed, effective, and efficient services to clients.

 

Alex is very active in community activities and often holds educational seminars to local Chinese community about cross-border legal and business matters. He was the leading legal counsel for Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Washington State during 2016-2019.
